Christopher Lehmpfuhl was a master student of Klaus Fußmann at the Berlin University of the Arts. A prominent figure of contemporary plein air painting, he is known for applying large quantities of oil paint to his canvases with his bare hands, creating sculptural and expressive depictions of cityscapes and natural landscapes.
