Klara Kayser was born in Hanover and studied at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf under Andreas Gursky and Katharina Fritsch. Her work is both sculptural and lyrical, exploring gender roles, body cults, and spirituality through a variety of materials including ceramics and sound.
