A German sculptor and former master student of Joseph Beuys. Her work focuses predominantly on the human body and the head, abstracted into archaic forms using materials such as bronze, stone, and plaster. She has received numerous awards, including the Käthe Kollwitz Prize and the Villa Romana Prize.
