Conceptual Art
A pioneering conceptual art group founded in 1968 in Coventry, England. Originally including artists such as Michael Baldwin, Terry Atkinson, David Bainbridge, and Harold Hurrell, the group's practice focused on a critical examination of the theoretical and linguistic foundations of art. Since 1977, the collaborative work has been carried out primarily by Michael Baldwin and Mel Ramsden, often produced in conjunction with the critic Charles Harrison.
