Christian Marclay is a visual artist and composer who explores the connections between sound art, noise music, and visual media. A pioneer of using turntables and vinyl records as musical instruments, he is well known for his 24-hour video installation 'The Clock' (2010), which collages film scenes featuring timepieces to create a functioning clock.
