Shamica Ruddock is an artist-researcher whose practice considers the ways Black diasporas are explored through sound and worldmaking. Their interests include Afro-Caribbean orality, masquerade, and speculative fictions. They were a finalist for the 2022-2023 Women of Colour Art Award and are a member of the Black Obsidian Sound System.
