Deeqa Ismail is a Manchester-based artist whose practice explores speculative ecology, memory, and hidden histories. Drawing on family archives and Somali culture, she creates spaces for reflection on hybrid identities and colonial systems. She was a finalist for the 2026 Women of Colour Art Award.
