Ilse D'Hollander

DESCRIPTION

Ilse D’Hollander (1968–1997) was a Belgian artist who created a resonant body of subtle, small-scale abstract paintings. Her work is characterized by pared-down compositions and delicate color layers that allude to the landscape of the Flemish countryside and the intimate act of painting.
