DESCRIPTION
Alya Hatta is a Malaysian artist based between London and Kuala Lumpur. Her interdisciplinary practice spans painting, sculpture, and digital media, exploring her Southeast Asian identity and the intimacies of the diasporic human condition. She often incorporates found materials and personal archives into her colorful, layered works to redefine notions of home. She is a graduate of the Royal College of Art and a member of the London-based 'Unamed Collective'.
