Vivien Zhang was born in Beijing and grew up in China, Kenya, and Thailand before moving to London. Her intricate paintings utilize a layered visual language that blends digital motifs with traditional painterly techniques to explore themes of identity, migration, and the impact of a globalized digital culture. She received her MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art and has been recognized on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list. Her work is featured in the HSBC Collection.
