Born in Ho Chi Minh City, Thu-Van Tran lives and works in Paris. Her interdisciplinary practice draws from literature and history to examine the legacy of colonialism and the concept of memory. She was nominated for the Marcel Duchamp Prize in 2018 and has completed major site-specific commissions for international institutions.
