DESCRIPTION
Eric Tucker, often referred to as the 'Secret Lowry', was a self-taught British painter who produced a vast body of work in near-total secrecy. A former boxer and laborer, he captured the working-class life of his native Warrington in hundreds of oil paintings and watercolors. It was only after his death in 2018 that his family discovered his collection, which led to record-breaking exhibitions at Alon Zakaim Fine Art and the Warrington Museum.
