Based in Guilin, Yi Hui is a photographer whose work explores female identity, family relationships, and the lived realities of ethnic minority communities in China. Her practice is characterized by acute observation and intuition, often utilizing metaphor to examine the connections between memory and the environment. She teaches in the Arts Department of Guilin Normal University.
