Edward Barns is an artist based in Gumma on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales. His practice is deeply connected to his local environment, which he observes alongside his mother, Donna. His 2026 solo exhibition at Firstdraft, 'Gummamagic,' featured paintings of local wildlife accompanied by an immersive soundscape.
