Mechelle Bounpraseuth is a Sydney-based artist whose ceramic practice pays homage to her domestic life and upbringing as a child of Laotian refugees. She creates 3D clay sculptures of everyday domestic objects—such as condiment bottles and fruit boxes—as a way to process cultural labor, love, and childhood memory.
