Pinaree Sanpitak is one of Thailand's most respected contemporary artists. Over four decades, she has explored themes of motherhood, femininity, and the self, primarily through the recurring motif of the female breast. Her work abstracts this form into symbols like vessels and stupas, weaving between the sacred and the profane to explore the sensory and spiritual experience of the body.
