Alfredo Valenzuela Puelma was one of the four 'Great Masters of Chilean Painting.' A realist and academic painter, he was known for his mastery of the human figure and his introduction of the nude to Chilean art. His work 'Dama del abanico' is a key piece in the MAC collection and served as the conceptual anchor for the 'Vestiario' exhibition at MAC Quinta Normal in 2026.
