Marco Alcázar is an artist from Chuquicamata whose practice involves a rescue of traditional sign-painting (cartelismo) learned from his father. His work addresses social and environmental issues related to the industrial landscape of northern Chile. In 2025, he presented the exhibition 'Futuro Esplendor' at Galería Metropolitana, curated by Máximo Corvalán-Pincheira.
