DESCRIPTION
Based in Washington, D.C., Chris Combs creates interactive sculptures that respond to viewers using facial recognition and motion sensing. A graduate of the Corcoran College of Art + Design and a former National Geographic photo editor, his work critiques surveillance and algorithmic systems. He exhibited 'Pollination' at Touchstone Gallery in 2026.
