Light installation and architecture
Iole Alessandrini is an artist and architect who moved from Italy to Seattle in 1994. She is best known for her 'Laser-Plane' installations, which use light to redefine physical space. She has received numerous awards, including a Pollock-Krasner Grant and the Seattle Art Museum's Betty Bowen Award.
