Ellen Ziegler is a Seattle artist and designer whose practice involves the exploration of psychological and physical properties of materials. A member of the SOIL cooperative, she often works with unconventional media such as tar paper, vermilion pigment, and mirrored glass. She studied at Antioch College in the 1960s.
