DESCRIPTION
Based in Walla Walla, Washington, Juventino Aranda is a Chicano artist whose work explores dual cultural identity and the socio-political struggles of Mexican-Americans. He often re-appropriates consumer products and cultural icons, such as Pendleton blankets and Little Golden Books, to critique late capitalism and the American dream.
