DESCRIPTION
Sheri Bakes is a Canadian painter based on Vancouver Island whose work focuses on the movement of wind and atmospheric light. Working with the experience of aphantasia, she uses her own photography as a map to build up ethereal, windswept landscapes that blur the lines between realism and abstraction.
