Alexander Liberman was a multi-faceted artist and influential magazine editor who served as the editorial director for Condé Nast publications for over 30 years. Known for his monumental red steel sculptures made from industrial materials like I-beams and pipes, his public works are displayed in over 40 cities worldwide, including a major installation on FIU's Avenue of the Arts.
