Luis Molina is a Cuban-born painter and the central artist of Molina Art Gallery in Miami. His artistic career began at the age of 12 in a Havana ceramics factory, leading him to formal study at the Academy of Art San Alejandro, from which he graduated in 1974. His work is recognized for its radiant palette and a signature transparency technique, focusing on themes of Afro-Cuban folklore, Orishas, guajiros (countryside farmers), and the natural beauty of the Cuban landscape.
