Ariel Orozco was born in Sancti Spíritus, Cuba, and received his MFA from the Instituto Superior de Arte in Havana in 2005. His conceptually driven practice reflects on overlooked interactions of everyday life by providing new perspectives on the mundane through interventions and actions. He is currently based in Ft. Lauderdale and Mexico City.
