DESCRIPTION
Alex Delapena is a Philippines-born artist based in Los Angeles who uses photography as a recursive space where physical action and observation converge. He received his MFA from the University of California, Riverside in 2022. Being hearing impaired, his work often probes the descriptive power of the medium when gesture becomes material.
