Ian L.C. Swordy received an MFA from Yale. His sculptures utilize found materials like marble, wood, and steel, filtered through a punk-modernist lens that imbues his objects with built-in contradictions between the fleeting and the permanent. He lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
