DESCRIPTION
Known as the 'godfather of Pop Surrealism,' Mark Ryden's work combines Old Master technical skill with a kitsh-filled, pop-culture-infused aesthetic. His paintings frequently feature wide-eyed, porcelain-faced children set in surreal and mysterious environments filled with esoteric symbols.
