Kim So Jeong was born in 1993 in South Korea. She earned her BFA and MFA in Oriental Painting from Ewha Womans University. She employs traditional East Asian ink line drawing (baekmyo) to depict overlooked scenes of everyday life and social protests, often removing color and text to expand the viewer's experience.
