Sean Cairns

DESCRIPTION

Sean Cairns portrays romantic and tranquil scenes of nature juxtaposed against the animated pulse of human activity. Inspired by German Expressionism and Color Field painting, he utilizes materials like sand, distemper, and oil to create textural landscapes that blur the lines between the painted and the perceived.
