Evelyn Tan is a Vancouverite visual artist currently based in Los Angeles. She earned her BFA in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design. Her practice is deeply influenced by dreams, memory, and fables, exploring themes of nostalgia and the transition from girlhood to adulthood. She frequently employs hybrid mark-making methods including graphite, ink, digital rendering, and paint to create meticulous, dreamlike compositions.
