Painting, Geometric Abstraction
Imre Bak was a leading figure in the Hungarian neo-avant-garde. His artistic practice evolved from early figurative work to a focus on non-figurative geometric abstraction and hard-edge painting, fusing universal symbolism with contemporary color and form theories. He was a co-founder of the Budapest Workshop.
