Born in Jundiaí, Brazil, Gezo Marques moved to Lisbon in 1997. With a background in social communication and a long career as an art director in advertising, he co-founded Oficina Marques in 2018. His artistic practice focuses on the metamorphosis of found objects and raw materials into unique artworks, guided by the motto 'Tusa de Viver' (the urge to live).
