Painting / Embroidery
Yassine Mekhnache, often known as Yaze, is a 'painter-embroiderer' who collaborates with traditional artisans in Morocco and India to create textured, multi-layered canvases. His practice combines the raw energy of graffiti with ancestral textile traditions and spiritual themes derived from Sufi philosophy. His work has been exhibited at major institutions like the Palais de Tokyo and the Dakar Biennale.
