Henri Ughetto was an obsessive artist known for his 'imputrescible' mannequins decorated with plastic objects and meticulously counted drops of blood. After a near-death experience in 1963, his work became a ritualistic counting of life, totaling millions of painted drops across his career. His art blends the baroque with a monomaniacal concept to explore themes of mortality and redemption.
