Riccardo Guarneri is a key representative of 'Analytical Painting' and light-based abstraction. His works are characterized by subtle, luminous transitions of color and delicate pencil marks that explore the perception of space. He was invited to the Venice Biennale in 1966 and 2017, and his works are in the collections of the Guggenheim Museum and the Centre Pompidou.
