DESCRIPTION

Saya Woolfalk uses science fiction and fantasy to re-imagine the world through a fictional race of women called the Empathics. Her multimedia works explore the utopian possibilities of cultural hybridity and the intersection of science, race, and sex. She has exhibited at major institutions globally, including the Whitney Museum and MoMA PS1.
