Mette Tommerup creates large-scale, immersive painting installations that transform architectural spaces into environments for collective reflection. Her practice involves subjecting raw canvases to natural elements, such as ocean water and soil, to explore themes of nature and Scandinavian heritage. She is based in Miami and her work is represented in the permanent collection of the Pérez Art Museum Miami.
