Claire McConaughy is an abstract landscape painter who interprets the natural world through the lenses of symbolism and feminism. Her work features heightened colors and fluidly drawn lines that create spatial tensions and dreamlike visions of nature. She earned her MFA from Columbia University and is a fellow of the MacDowell Colony.
