DESCRIPTION
Ina Gerken is a German abstract painter whose process-based practice is rooted in intuition and spontaneous gesture. Working on large-scale canvases often laid flat on the floor, she allows her paintings to unfold autonomously, resulting in organic, highly evocative visual worlds that oscillate between chaos and meditative order.
