DESCRIPTION
Michael Tolloy lives and works in Pfons, Tyrol, Austria. Trained at the Akademie für Holz und Gestaltung in Munich and the Fachschule für Holz und Steinbildhauerei in Vienna, he crafts precisely carved wooden sculptures that reflect on the human body, solidarity and the duality of gender. He received the Ruth-Leibnitz-Preis in Liechtenstein and the Europäischer Gestaltungspreis in Karlsruhe in 2016.
